Eldad Eilam

President & CEO, Director

Eldad sets our overall direction and product strategy and also leads the design and implementation of hopTo products. Previously, he was CTO of Else Ltd., where he led the design and development of the revolutionary Else mobile phone platform. A 15+ year software industry veteran, he is the author of the book "Reversing: Secrets of Reverse Engineering". As if being a CEO isn't enough fun, his evenings are filled with the joys of being a parent.

Bob Dixon

VP of Finance

With more than 30 years of finance experience, this East Coast native was lured to California to be the Controller at our subsidiary in early 2000. For the last nine years, he has served as an executive officer on the boards of a private Montessori School and a public Charter High School. He has been moonlighting as an amateur musician for 35 years, playing in a variety of bands and as a session musician.

Justin Cloutier

VP of Business Development

Justin manages business strategy, partner management, and the development of strategic alliances and channels. Prior to hopTo he spent 15 years successfully running OEM and Business Development groups for Enterprise Software and datacenter management companies, including 3.5 yeas running Critix’s Business Development team responsible for the System Manufactures. Justin is an avid sports fan, and his entire family is involved in the youth football and cheerleading program in Issaquah.

David Nagy

Senior Director, Product Management

David leads product management for hopTo, responsible for market and product requirements definition and the product roadmap. Prior to hopTo, he was instrumental in a series of mobile and Web startups developing groundbreaking apps for the manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, transportation & logistics, finance, and consumer markets - including most recently the popular Evernote and PocketCloud apps and services. Earlier in his career, he spent many years at Apple as a product manager developing Mac products for business. In his spare time David enjoys cooking, traveling, racquetball, and dreaming up new mobile app ideas.

Troy Mickle

VP Marketing

Troy manages all marketing and communications efforts for hopTo. Troy has over twenty-five years of marketing, technology, and management experience. Troy has held several executive level sales and marketing positions with companies including VSP, Dell, Sun Microsystems (Java), and Westinghouse. Troy has expertise in consumer behavior, demand generation, social media, business development, cloud technology, mobile technology, marketing, new product development, and strategic planning. Troy is into baseball, traveling and writing fiction.

John Cronin


John joined the board of directors in 2011. He is the founder, managing director and chairman of both ipCapital Group, a leading intellectual property strategy firm and ipCapital Licensing Group, a leading IP licensing Company and recently, the CEO of ipCreate. Previously, he was a distinguished inventor at IBM for 17 years where he patented 100 inventions, published over 150 technical papers, and received IBM’s “Most Distinguished Inventor Award”. As a member of the senior technical staff at the prestigious IBM Academy, Mr. Cronin led an intellectual asset team that spearheaded efforts to produce and manage the company’s intellectual property. Sam M. Auriemma


Sam joined the board of directors in 2012. He is a veteran financial executive with over 30 years of senior-level experience at a variety of technology companies. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for over 25 acquisitions and divestitures the largest of which had cash consideration in excess of $1.5 billion. Since 2009 Mr. Auriemma served as a member of the board of trustees at CHOC Children’s Hospital in Orange County California and various other philanthropic Committees. From 1997 to 2009 he served as CFO of Wonderware Corporation, FileNet Corporation and MSC.Software. Additionally he is a Certified Public Accountant.

Michael Brochu


Michael joined the board of directors in 2012. He has over 20 years of senior-level experience at a variety of global companies. Most recently he was president and CEO of Global Market Insite (GMI), which was acquired by WPP in 2011. Earlier he served as president, CEO, and COO in a series of highly successful companies including Loudeye Corporation, Primus Knowledge Solutions, and Sierra On-Line Inc. Mr. Brochu currently sits on the board of directors of Centro Digital Media, Vines of Mendoza, and Zotec Partners, and on the advisory board of Seattle-based venture capital firm Voyager Capital.

Jeremy Verba


Jeremy Verba is a senior internet executive with leadership experience in consumer products and services. Mr. Verba is currently an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Foundation Capital in Menlo Park, CA. Most recently, Mr. Verba was the CEO of eHarmony, Inc., overseeing the number one compatibility-based relationship site in the world. The company operated or controlled businesses in 18 countries on four continents. Previous to eHarmony, Mr. Verba was the founder and GM of Treasure Isle at Zynga, Inc.

Mr. Verba's career encompasses roles as a top executive in private entities, public companies and divisions of large companies. His career focus has been on online services, communications, and digital media. Mr. Verba sits on several boards, is an active angel investor and is a graduate of MIT and Harvard Business School.
